“So who am I and how does this work?”
As I mentioned before, my name is Adam Wilkes and I am a 36 year old, self employed computer programmer with a lifelong passion for both horse racing and statistics.
Having been inspired by the now famous ‘Maria’s Laying System’ where she turned £3,000 into £100,603.78 in just 303 days (and proved this by posting her selections to a blog before they ran), I decided to combine my knowledge of horse racing and statistics to come up with my own version…
Now Maria never actually revealed how she came up with her selections – she simply said that they were ‘value’ selections. A value selection (in laying terms) is one in which the price of the horse is shorter than its real chance of winning.
So using this idea I created and honed my own methods for finding value selections, which has proved to be successful. Because of this I recently decided to share my profitable selections with a small group of people.
I specialise in ‘handicap flat’ races and so I only lay in these. Each day I spend hours studying and analysing the form of the horses running and using statistical data to help me pinpoint short priced horses whose odds of winning should be much longer.

I started on January 1st 2011 with a betting bank of £1,200, which grew to £4,285.39 by January 31st 2012, using just 1% stakes (of my betting bank) on each race.
Each month was profitable, with an average of 10.2 points per month (after 5% Betfair commission) in 2011. In January 2012, I made £417.59 and remember these gains are tax free!
In the results tables the ‘Lay Odds’ column was the odds I laid (and got matched at) in the morning and the ‘BSP’ column shows the Betfair start price. As a rule I NEVER lay at odds above 5.5 as there is no value beyond this point. Doing this also limits your potential losses, should the race go against you.
Now I must point out that the selections I will be sending you will be the exact same ones that I will be putting money on myself. There will be no extra ones thrown in and certainly none left out. So your results will be exactly the same as mine.
